Hackenthorpe Pubs

There have been a number of pubs that have existed in the village/suburb over the years, many of which were considered 'the local' by my Staniforth ancestors, due to this I have taken a great interest particularly in The New Inn and The Blue Bell. I have just created a new page for Hackenthorpe Pubs in which I have included history on past owners as well as a basic history of the pubs themselves, this will likely be expanded upon in the future and I appreciate any addition information.

Welcome to, here you will find various articles, records and information related to Hackenthorpe village. Originally a small village in the county of Derbyshire, today the area is a suburb of the South Yorkshire city of Sheffield.

Feel free to browse the various articles, and make use of our information, if you have any questions feel free to email me at
